Currently, Suzan J. Cotellesse enjoys her successful private practice as a psychotherapist, supervisor, teacher, coach and consultant at Spectrum Center in Houston, Texas. Suzan wears many "hats." The different settings in which she works satisfy her interest in how people manage themselves amid the constant changes, challenges, conflicts and crises that life brings. Suzan loves sharing her expertise with community groups and professional organizations. She finds that people appreciate her ability to share her expertise and wisdom with relaxed humor, authentic candor and respect for the human condition. In addition to her work at Spectrum Center, Suzan is currently writing two memoirs. One gives a personal voice to the trauma of sexual violence and what it takes to heal such trauma. The second memoir explores the crisis of purpose and identity that is faced by women who are childless in a strongly child-centered culture.
